Legal notice
Who owns this site, on what conditions it may be used and what each party is liable for. Written to be read, not to put you off.
Document pending legal review
This text has been drafted but it is not the final version yet. The details of the company that owns Cairos are missing — name, NIF, address and register entries — and so is a lawyer's review. The gaps you see like this are exactly that: gaps. We would rather show them than fill them with invented details. In the meantime, any question about how your data is handled is answered by writing to hola@cairos.es.
1. Owner of the website
In compliance with article 10 of Ley 34/2002, on information society services and electronic commerce, the identifying details of the owner of this website are set out below:
- Registered company name: [Registered company name]
- NIF: [NIF]
- Registered address: [Full registered address]
- Register details: [Registro Mercantil, volume, folio, sheet and entry]
- Email address: hola@cairos.es
- Trading name: Cairos
- Website: https://cairos.es
If the activity were subject to any prior administrative authorisation regime or to a professional body, the relevant details would be recorded here: [Authorisations or professional registration, if applicable].
Prices and taxes. As that same article 10 of Ley 34/2002 requires, the prices shown on the pricing page are stated excluding VAT, are per company and per billing period, and include no other charge. Whatever tax applies to your status and your territory is added on top. There are no delivery charges because nothing physical is delivered.
The owner is not signed up to any code of conduct.
2. Purpose and scope
This legal notice governs access to, browsing of and use of the website https://cairos.es and its informational subdomains. Use of the management program hosted at https://erp.cairos.es is also governed by the terms of service, which prevail over this document as regards subscribing.
Browsing this site makes you a user and means you accept this legal notice in the version published at the time of access. If you disagree with any of its clauses, the course open to you is not to use the site.
3. Conditions of use
The user undertakes to use the site with due care and not to use it for activities contrary to the law, to good faith or to public order. Specifically, they undertake not to:
- Introduce or circulate content that infringes third-party rights.
- Attempt to access restricted areas, the owner's systems or other users' data.
- Introduce programs, viruses or anything else capable of damaging the systems.
- Carry out bulk automated extraction of the content for purposes other than search engine indexing.
- Impersonate other people or the owner itself.
4. Intellectual and industrial property
The text, design, code, databases, trade marks and other content on this site belong to [Registered company name] or to third parties who have authorised their use, and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law.
Reproduction, distribution, public communication or transformation without express written authorisation is prohibited, save for the uses permitted by law. Quoting extracts is permitted, with the source stated and a link to the original.
References to third-party trade marks or trading names appearing on the site — for example on the comparison or migration pages — are made for information and imply no sponsorship or connection of any kind with their owners.
5. Links to other sites
This site contains links to third-party pages, chiefly to the Boletín Oficial del Estado, Spain's official gazette, to the Spanish Tax Agency's electronic office and to the websites of other management programs. The owner neither controls that content nor is liable for it: the link is offered because the information is there, not as an endorsement of anything.
No permission is needed to link to this site from another, provided the link leads to the home page or to a complete page, the content is not reproduced inside a frame, and no relationship is suggested that does not exist.
6. Liability
The owner takes care that the information published is accurate and up to date, and on the regulatory pages each rule is cited with its article so that anyone can check it. Even so, the content of this site is for information and does not constitute tax, accounting or legal advice. Rules change, and a general reading is no substitute for a professional's analysis of a specific case.
The owner is not liable for loss arising from the use of the information published, nor for service interruptions, connection errors or the presence of viruses, without prejudice to the applicable rules and to those liabilities that cannot be excluded by contract.
7. Data protection
The processing of personal data is explained in the privacy policy, and the use of cookies and similar technologies in the cookie policy. The technical and organisational measures are described on the security page.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute arising from access to or use of this site, the parties submit to the courts of [City of the registered address], unless consumer legislation gives jurisdiction elsewhere, in which case it will be the court for the consumer's place of residence.
9. Amendments
The owner may amend this legal notice to reflect changes in the law or to the site itself. The version in force is the one published on this page, bearing the date shown at the end.
Last updated: [Date of the final version].

About the language of this document. This text is published in Spanish, Catalan, Galician, Basque and English. The translations are there so you can read it comfortably, but the Spanish version is the only one that prevails: if a translation says something different, the original governs, and you can read it at cairos.es/legal/aviso-legal/.
